Wende’s passion and devotion to fitness goes way bak to the age of 17 when she made the decision to obtain her first group fitness certification. There is nothing she enjoys more than empowering people to reach and maintain their health and fitness goals. Wende founded and managed Results Fitness in San Marcos from 1993-2009 before deciding to move to the Hill Country.
In addition to having earned her degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Southwest Texas State University, she also holds numerous other certifications. Wende was a National presenter for AFAA from 2004-2009 certifying thousands of personal trainers all over the US.

Karie is a lifelong fitness enthusiast who has turned her passion into a career. She believes that exercise is the solution for many life’s challenges including stress reduction, better health and boosting ones self-esteem. Karie has been with Fresh and Fit since last January leading the group fitness class “Fit Fusion.” She is currently on her way to becoming a Senior Exercise Specialist and looks forward to helping her community live happier healthier lives.
Meet Kristi our YOGA Instructor!
Kristi has a background in dance and was introduced to the practice of yoga in 2005. She fell in love with the therapeutic and relaxation benefits of the practice and the balance it brought to her life while she was working full time, raising her children and being involved in their numerous extracurricular activities. She decided to deepen her knowledge of the practice by completing her 200-hour training and is currently completing the final components of her 300-hour training, all through North Texas Yoga.
Her focus is to help students discover and reap the mental and physical benefits of yoga through the various stages of life. Her favorite classes to teach are Gentle and Vinyasa.
Off the yoga mat, she has a full-time career workin in a legal department in the mortgage industry and enjoys an active lifestyle with her husband and 4 children. She is a sucker for homeless dogs... she currently has 3 of them!
Candice has been on the Fresh & Fit team since June 2021. She discovered her passion for training while on her own fitness journey in our gym! She soon joined Wende’s training program thru AFAA & the rest is history! Candice found her love for Pilates & soon plans to get certified & specialize on our Pilates Reformers. Helping people feel better, hit goals & gain confidence is what keeps Candice motivated!
Carly has been a trainer with Fresh & Fit since October of 2020. She got her certification through Wende’s trainer program and has been our early morning trainer since! Carly got into the fitness world a year prior and fell in love with Pilates, running & exploring the weight room. Outside of training, Carly is a part time student studying nutrition & kinesiology and works full time in the substance abuse treatment industry. Carly is a true believer that when you are exercising, eating nutritional foods & spending time outside your quality of life improves and she tries to implement that belief into her daily life.
